The City of Port St. Lucie is organizing a Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on January 20, 2025. The event will take place at Whispering Pines Park from 1 to 4 p.m. It promises live music, food, activities for children, and painting demonstrations.
This community event aims to honor Dr. King's legacy by providing an afternoon of entertainment and reflection. Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable canned goods to support the Treasure Coast Food Bank.
"Attendees are advised to bring their own chairs," stated the city announcement.
