Rep. Brian Mast, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 21st district, shared several thoughts on social media recently. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1980, Mast has been a congressman since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. He is an alumnus of Harvard University Extension School with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

On January 27, 2025, Rep. Mast expressed his enthusiasm for servicemembers returning to duty after standing up for their beliefs. He stated, "It’s a beautiful day for thousands of servicemembers who stood up for what they believe in. I’m excited to see them put their uniforms back on and get back to doing what they love - serving our country!"

Later that day, he reflected on the importance of remembering historical tragedies to prevent their recurrence. He tweeted at 22:39 UTC: "We must remember the horrors of the Holocaust to ensure that the darkest chapters of human history are never repeated."

In another post from January 27 at 23:58 UTC, Rep. Mast mentioned attending an event in his district honoring community members. He remarked, "An outstanding event in FL21 honoring some of the most deserving members of our community."
