On January 24, 2025, Rep. Mast expressed enthusiasm about the commencement of President Trump's second term by stating: "Welcome to the Golden Age of America! We’re one week into President Trump’s second term, and we’ve hit the ground running."
The following day, January 25, he commented on the importance of military experiences for young Americans by tweeting: "It’s great to see the next generation of service members getting a firsthand look at life in the Navy. Experiences like these pave the way for future leaders!"
Later that same day, Rep. Mast offered his perspective on President Trump's early actions during his new term with another tweet: "Less than one week into his second term, President Trump has already done more to restore common sense in this country than his predecessor did in 4 years."
