The City of Port St. Lucie is set to host a free Pathway to Business Expo on January 9, 2025. This initiative by the Office of Business Tax aims to support local economic growth and provide a platform for entrepreneurs and business owners to connect and collaborate.
The expo will feature an open forum where participants can engage with representatives from nearly two dozen agencies. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, seek advice, and gain insights directly from experts in various fields.
A special session hosted by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will focus on promoting tax season partnerships with Bank On and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) programs. The session aims to assist unbanked households, with discussions led by an IRS representative on tax credits and partnership opportunities. Bank On staff will share resources for financial empowerment, while the FDIC will provide insights from their Unbanked and Underbanked Household Survey.
This event is open to all local entrepreneurs, business owners, and individuals interested in Port St. Lucie's entrepreneurial landscape. Registration is encouraged to secure participation in this event.
