Thank you Will Greenlee and Melissa Holsman with TCPalm for this touching tribute to Sgt. Gary Morales, who was killed in the line of duty ten years ago.
According to Sheriff Mascara, “They say heroes die two different ways − when they're killed in the line of duty and when they're forgotten — so we definitely don't want to forget him.”
Sgt. Morales was a mentor, teacher, and friend to many.
