The City of Port St. Lucie is organizing an open house to discuss the upcoming Phase 3 of the Floresta Drive Improvement Project. This final phase, set to commence in March, will extend from Crosstown Parkway to Prima Vista Boulevard and is anticipated to conclude by Fall 2028.

City public works staff and members of the construction project team will be present at the event to provide information and address any questions from residents regarding the forthcoming construction activities.

The open house is scheduled for Monday, March 10, from 5-7 p.m., with a presentation starting at 5:30 p.m. It will take place at the Port St. Lucie Community Center located at 2195 SE Airoso Blvd., Port St. Lucie.

The Floresta Drive Improvement Project has been funded through the Half-Cent Sales Tax Referendum approved by St. Lucie County voters in 2018. The project's first phase began in 2020, covering Southbend Boulevard to Elkcam Waterway, and was completed in 2022. The second phase stretched from Elkcam Waterway to Crosstown Parkway, started in 2022, and is now substantially complete.

Upon completion, improvements on Floresta Drive will feature a two-lane roadway enhanced with bicycle lanes, sidewalks, lighting, and landscaping over more than four miles.
