The City of Port St. Lucie is set to illuminate the holiday season with its PSLinLights festivities, beginning Friday, November 29, and continuing through Sunday, December 29. The city will be adorned with over two million holiday lights from dusk until dawn during this period.
Residents are invited to participate in various family-friendly activities such as a walk-through light experience, a residential holiday light contest, and a scavenger hunt. A self-guided tour map will be available for those who wish to explore the decorated homes. Registration for the contest opens on Wednesday, November 20, and closes on Monday, January 6. Public voting for the best display begins on Wednesday, January 8. "Winners will be announced Friday, Jan. 10, 2025," according to the city's official announcement.
Several events are scheduled throughout Port St. Lucie at different venues:
- At The Port District (2410 SE Westmoreland Blvd), visitors can enjoy enchanting light displays nightly from November 29 to December 29.
- The Community Center (2195 SE Airoso Blvd) transforms into a vibrant wonderland during the same dates.
- On Saturday, December 7, MIDFLORIDA Event Center hosts the Festival of Lights featuring a tree-lighting ceremony and fireworks.
- On Friday, December 13, there will be festive arts and crafts at MIDFLORIDA Event Center.
- Additional events include a morning craft session at the Community Center on December 13 and a Special Populations Holiday Luncheon on December 18.
- Veterans Park at Rivergate offers an evening of Hispanic culture celebration with live music on December 20.
All events aim to provide free or low-cost entertainment options for families and individuals in Port St. Lucie during the holiday season.
