The trails inside Queen’s Island Preserve will be closed for maintenance from Wednesday, Sept. 21 through Monday, Sept. 26. However, the canoe/kayak launch will remain open.
Only the North and South trails will be closed off while heavy machinery is in use to trim back the overgrowth. Weather permitting, all of the trails inside Queen’s Island Preserve should reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 27.
Located at 4653 North A1A, this 232-acre preserve features uplands and wetlands with boardwalks/fishing piers and a canoe/kayak launch with direct access to the Indian River Lagoon.
