Martin County issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.
Starting at 5:30 am on Sunday, March 6th, Game on Race Events, will begin preparing for their annual Marathon of the Treasure Coast.
This work will necessitate road closure on SE Ocean Boulevard from SE Denver Avenue to SE Balboa Avenue. The roads are anticipated to be reopened by 3:00 pm.
Motorists are encouraged to follow detours, exercise caution, and expect delays.
