The City of Port St. Lucie Parks and Recreation Department is preparing to host the second annual FAM Fest, an event dedicated to celebrating Black culture through various artistic expressions. Scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., the festival will take place at Whispering Pines Park located at 800 SW Darwin Blvd., Port St. Lucie.

The event promises a range of activities suitable for all ages. Attendees can expect displays from local artists featuring contemporary art designs, jewelry, and more. The Kid Zone will offer attractions such as a video game truck, laser tag, and inflatable bounce structures.

FAM Fest aims to provide a family-friendly environment where visitors can experience the "unique flavors, sights, and sounds of Black culture." The program includes performances by local bands, dance sessions, and live music.

Parking arrangements have been made at Windmill Point Elementary and Treasure Coast High School. For those requiring disabled parking access, a designated lot will be available within Whispering Pines Park.

For additional details about FAM Fest, interested individuals are encouraged to contact the City of Port St. Lucie Parks and Recreation Department at 772-878-2277 or visit PSLParks.com.
