The City of Port St. Lucie is set to hold the second of three workshops on February 5, inviting public feedback for a significant update to the City's Comprehensive Plan. The first workshop took place on January 5 and saw participation from over 100 people. This initial session focused on assessing the current state with the theme “Where are we now,” while the upcoming workshop will explore future aspirations under the theme “Where do we want to go?”

Public involvement is considered crucial in shaping Port St. Lucie's future, and residents are encouraged to attend these workshops to express their views.

Details for the second public workshop are as follows:

- Date: Wednesday, February 5, 2025

- Time: 6-8 p.m.

- Location: Port St. Lucie Community Center, 2195 S.E. Airoso Blvd., Port St. Lucie

The Comprehensive Plan acts as a guideline for growth and development within city limits, primarily enforced through zoning regulations. The update project, titled Charting Port St. Lucie 2045, will incorporate a visioning component to align with community aspirations for the city's future.

More information about the project can be found at cityofpsl.com/compplan, where a survey is also available for public input regarding city planning. For further inquiries about the Comprehensive Plan, residents can contact the City of Port St. Lucie Planning and Zoning Department at 772-871-5213.
