St. Patrick's Day Festival and Parade in Port St. Lucie

Port St. Lucie residents are gearing up to celebrate the luck of the Irish at the upcoming St. Patrick's Day Festival and Parade. The event, organized by the City of Port St. Lucie Parks & Recreation Department and The Friendly Sons & Daughters of Ireland, promises a weekend filled with Irish culture and entertainment.

"This two-day event is packed with music," said the organizers. The festivities will kick off on Friday, March 15, from 5-10 p.m. at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center, located at 9221 SE Event Center Place, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952. Attendees can expect a vibrant parade at 11:00 a.m., followed by a variety of activities including traditional Irish cuisine, spirited dancing, arts & crafts, and carnival rides.

On Friday night, attendees can enjoy the infectious sounds of Derek Warfield & The Young Wolfe Tones, while Saturday's lineup includes performances by Paul Rowan, Indigo Dreamers, Vertigo U2 tribute band, and Bangers N' Mash.

The schedule for Saturday, March 16, is as follows:

- 12:30 -3 p.m.: Paul Rowan

- 3:30-4:30 p.m.: Indigo Dreamers

- 5-7 p.m.: Vertigo U2 tribute band

- 7:30-10 p.m.: Bangers N’ Mash
