Mast announces winner of 2024 Congressional Art Competition

STUART, Fla. – Congressman Brian Mast (FL-21) recently announced the winner of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition, Tetiana Bilokon from Martin County High School. Expressing his admiration for the participants, Rep. Mast stated, "I'm constantly impressed by our youth's brilliance and talent. Congratulations to Tetiana Bilokon and thanks to everyone who took part! I'm excited to see your artwork on display in the United States Capitol."

Tetiana Bilokon's artwork will be showcased alongside pieces from winners across the country for one year. The competition, which received 102 submissions from 13 schools in Martin, St. Lucie, and Palm Beach Counties, highlighted the artistic abilities of students in the 21st congressional district.

Among the finalists were Debora Fontanez from Jupiter Community High School and Allana Dalley from St. Lucie West Centennial High School. Honorable mentions were also awarded to Camron Comeau, Charlize Williams, Lacey Jones, Virginia McGrail, Georgia Smith, and Brooke Vanderwarn for their impressive submissions.

The Congressional Art Competition, established in 1982, aims to support and promote the arts while nurturing creativity and artistic expression among the nation's youth. Over the years, more than 700,000 students have participated in the competition, showcasing their exceptional talents on a national platform.
