Congratulations to Deputy William Minogue for being recognized as the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office Deputy of the Quarter at today’s St Lucie County Chamber of Commerce Business and Breakfast Bowl!
With over 15 years of experience in law enforcement, Deputy Minogue has spent the last four years protecting and educating children as a school resource deputy.
In 2021, Deputy Minogue was assigned to Sunlight Christian Academy, where he trained 75 staff members and approximately 600 students on critical incident response.
The students who've interacted with Deputy Minogue have referred to him as a trusted friend, and countless staff members have expressed appreciation for his selfless dedication to the students and staff while on duty and off.
We're honored by the example he has set and the commitment he's made to our community.
