City of Stuart issued the following announcement on July 20.
Work on the SE Ocean Boulevard Streetscape Improvements Project is scheduled to commence on Thursday, July 22nd. The current schedule of the project dictates that all work be completed by November 9th, 2021.
Phase 1 of the project, which begins at the intersection of South Colorado Avenue (Confusion Corner) and extends east to SE Georgia Avenue, includes landscape installation, irrigation, tree placement and/or replacement, stamped concrete, and staining of existing sidewalk.
The total project cost is $175,367.00 and contract work will be completed by Sunshine Land Design, Inc. No lane or road closures will be required to complete the work. Sidewalks and crosswalks will also remain open for the duration of the project.
Residents and visitors are requested to keep the area readily accessible so that the contractor may complete work in a timely manner.
