Brian Mast discusses meetings with cadets and Capitol visitors

Rep. Brian Mast, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida's 21st district since 2017, recently shared insights and experiences through a series of tweets. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mast graduated from Harvard University Extension School in 2016 and resides in Fort Pierce.

On March 11, 2025, Rep. Mast expressed his admiration for West Point cadets after meeting with them. He noted their passion and dedication to service, stating "I had the honor of sitting down with some of America’s best and brightest this morning - West Point cadets."

The following day, on March 12, he welcomed young visitors to the nation's Capitol. In his tweet, he mentioned "It’s always great to welcome young people to our nation’s Capitol – thanks for your questions!"

On March 13, Rep. Mast addressed concerns about healthcare costs for illegal immigrants in Florida. He asserted that "Enough is enough. Floridians paying $660 million for the healthcare of illegal immigrants is unacceptable."
