In Washington D.C., Rep. Brian Mast (FL-21) issued a statement today in response to President Biden's threat to withhold weapons from Israel if it proceeds with its plans to invade Rafah.
"Six Americans are being held hostage by Hamas, while countless others have been murdered and raped by this terrorist organization. Yet, the response from the American president is to take tactical advice from Ivy League undergraduates here on foreign visas who desecrate their own campuses and the statues of American warriors, like George Washington," Congressman Mast stated. "Biden’s response is to succumb to the propaganda of countries who themselves refuse to accept Palestinians within their borders. Hamas and any person in Gaza who supports them is America’s enemy and President Biden is proudly threatening to give aid and comfort to our enemy."
Rep. Mast currently chairs the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Accountability.
