Indian River State College issued the following announcement on Sept. 2.
Meet Mary Lewis, Director of Financial Aid at #IRSC! Mary can be found in the Student Success Center (W Building) on the IRSC Massey Campus in Fort Pierce.
A little bit about Mary:
Q: Favorite IRSC memory?
A: My favorite memory is assisting two siblings through the financial aid process (their parents were not in their lives and two very sweet ladies took care of them ). They always came by to check in with me and I received an invitation to graduation from both of them.
Q: What is the best part of your job?
A: Working with and helping students. I still get excited when I fill in at our front desk to assist students.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: For adventure – Lord of the Rings; for family – Monsters Inc.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
A: I love crafting; I’m always making things for my grandkids. I also love fishing.
