Treasure Coast Sun

Of the 4,235 people living in Fort Pierce South in 2019, 56.4 percent (2,388) were women and 43.6 percent (1,847) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Treasure Coast Sun.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 1,339-to-1,245. In the 65 and over age range, there were 481 females and 293 males.
