Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Indian River State College

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Indian River State College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida residents paid $2,764 to attend the four-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 269.1 percent more than residents this year, or $10,201. Their price tag was unchanged from $10,201 in 2017-18.

About 98 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Florida residents. About 1 percent are residents of other states and 1 percent are citizens of other countries.

Data shows 71 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 895 students received grants or scholarships totaling $5.7 million and 109 students took out student loans totaling more than $407,163.

Including all undergraduates (16,686), 6,924 students used grants or scholarships totaling $33.1 million, and 1,339 students took out $6 million in federal student loans.
