Regular gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.66 per gallon at one gas station in St. Lucie County during the week ending Mar. 21, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, regular gas averaged $3.95 per gallon.
Of the 120 reported gas stations in cities within St. Lucie County, 86 offered regular gas.
Across Florida, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas rose to $3.92, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
