Representative Brian Mast, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 21st District since 2017, recently shared several updates via social media highlighting developments in his district and at the national level. Mast, who succeeded Patrick Murphy and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, continues to engage with constituents on local achievements and federal fiscal matters.

On July 13, 2025, Mast emphasized the appeal of his district for residents and their families, stating “Florida’s 21st District continues is the place to be for every member of your family, including the four-legged ones!”

Later that day, he commented on recent federal fiscal developments by noting a government surplus attributed to current trade policy: “WINNING: $27 BILLION surplus for the U.S. government last month thanks to @POTUS’s tariff plan.” This statement highlights his focus on national economic issues.

In a subsequent post on July 13, Mast credited Floridian workers for recent business accolades received by the state: “It’s no secret—the hardworking Floridians that show up everyday to drive growth, create jobs, and serve their communities are the reason our state was just ranked in the top 3 for business.”

Brian Mast was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently resides in Fort Pierce. He graduated from Harvard University Extension School in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
