Of the 160,420 people living in Martin County in 2020, 50.7 percent (81,297) were women and 49.3 percent (79,123) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Treasure Coast Sun.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 1,025. In the 65 and over age range, there were 26,887 females and 23,138 males.
