Rep. Brian Mast, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district, posted a series of messages on his social media account at the start of 2026, sharing greetings and public safety reminders with his constituents.
On January 1, 2026, Mast extended holiday wishes to his followers, writing “Happy New Year! Wishing you and your families a great 2026, from my family to yours. I want to thank each of you for the opportunity to serve our community.”
The following day, he addressed environmental awareness regarding local wildlife as temperatures dropped in Florida: “As temperatures drop, manatees seek out warmer waters. Admire from afar and stay alert if you’re boating.” The post included a link for further information.
Later that same day, Mast expressed gratitude toward federal law enforcement efforts: “This could’ve been tragic. Thank you @FBI for keeping our great nation and our families safe.”
Mast has represented Florida’s 21st congressional district since 2017 after succeeding Patrick Murphy in office. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently residing in Fort Pierce, Mast graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a bachelor’s degree in 2016.
