Rep. Brian Mast, who represents Florida’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on social media reflecting on military service, environmental preservation, and legislative initiatives.
On August 7, 2025, Mast posted about his time at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center: “While recovering at Walter Reed, I was honored to meet some brave men and women who sacrificed for our great nation. Today, we reflect on their example and remember all those wounded and fallen.”
The following day, August 8, he highlighted the natural beauty of his district: “In #FL21, we have some of the most beautiful landscapes in the country—with hidden paradises like the St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park, we must continue to preserve & protect these natural treasures for generations to come.”
Later that same day, Mast commented on a recent community engagement: “I enjoyed seeing everyone at the Fort Pierce Rotary Club yesterday! We had great conversations about the One Big Beautiful Bill and how this bill is going to make our nation more secure and more prosperous.”
Mast has served as U.S. Representative for Florida’s 21st District since 2017 after succeeding Patrick Murphy. He previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently residing in Fort Pierce, Mast graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016.
