Rep. Brian Mast, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, shared updates on his official X account about the beginning of the second session of the 119th Congress and other recent activities.

On January 10, 2026, Mast posted: “We are officially back for the second session of the 119th Congress—and it’s been a packed week in Washington.

Later that day, he marked Law Enforcement Appreciation Day with another post: “Friday was Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. I want to make sure that every man and woman who puts on the badge to protect our communities is honored. https://t.co/3MJh61CZ09” This message recognized law enforcement personnel for their service.

Brian Mast has served as a member of Congress since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, Mast resides in Fort Pierce and holds a BA from Harvard University Extension School.
