Rep. Brian Mast, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, posted a series of messages on social media expressing support for community members and highlighting local civic engagement.
On December 1, 2025, Mast shared his thoughts for a service member: “I’m keeping Staff Sgt. Wolfe and his family in my prayers today as he fights for his life. We are all standing with you.”
Later that day, Mast recognized the impact of a figure named Charlie on youth civic involvement: “Charlie’s legacy of inspiring civic engagement in America’s young people charges on. I’m proud of all the young people in our communities that carry on his torch.”
On December 2, Mast addressed an incident involving law enforcement: “My prayers are with Port St. Lucie police officer, Sgt. Erik Levasseur who was shot protecting our community last night. May god bless you, your family and all law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line to protect ours.”
Mast has served as a U.S. Representative from Florida since succeeding Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently resides in Fort Pierce at age 42. Mast is also an alumnus of Harvard University Extension School, where he earned a BA in 2016.
