Rep. Brian Mast, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, highlighted legislative developments and meetings in a series of tweets posted on January 24 and 25, 2026.

On January 24, Mast addressed efforts to support veterans under the current administration, stating, “The numbers don’t lie. Under this administration and with @SecVetAffairs at the helm, we’re doing more for our veterans and making sure they get the benefits they deserve.”

Later that day, he commented on recent legislative activity in Washington: “This was a pivotal week in Washington. It’s been one full year since @POTUS’ inauguration and this week all 12 of 2026’s appropriations bills have officially been passed by the House. On January 25, Mast discussed international engagement efforts: “On Tuesday, I had the pleasure of inviting @MariaCorinaYA to meet with the @HouseForeignGOP for a conversation about the future for the Venezuelan people.”

Mast has represented Florida’s 21st District in Congress since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017. He previously served in the Florida House of Representatives and holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University Extension School (source: FACTS FOR STEP 4). Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, Mast currently resides in Fort Pierce.
