Rep. Brian Mast, who represents Florida’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress, highlighted recent legislative efforts and community updates in a series of posts on January 14, 2026.

In a post published at 13:25 UTC, Mast stated, “These four brave men gave their lives while protecting their communities—they deserve the respect of our nation. It’s why I’m working to get my bill, the Medal of Sacrifice Act, signed into law.”

Later that day at 15:54 UTC, he praised local emergency personnel, writing, “The Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches are home to some of the finest first responders. This addition will greatly benefit the Jupiter community!”

Addressing weather concerns at 17:44 UTC, Mast advised constituents about an approaching cold front: “An intense cold front is moving into #FL21. Make sure to contact your local county emergency management center if you are in need of assistance.”

Mast has served as a member of Congress since 2017 after replacing Patrick Murphy and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently resides in Fort Pierce. Mast graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016.
