Rep. Brian Mast, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, posted a series of messages on April 13, 2026, highlighting local pride and environmental progress in his district.

In a post from the morning of April 13, Mast wrote, “#FL21 has some of the best towns in the country. Proud to call it home.” Later that day, he welcomed returning individuals with another message: “Welcome home, patriots.”

Mast also commented on a significant development for regional environmental restoration efforts. In an evening tweet on April 13, he stated: “HUGE win for the Everglades and the St. Lucie Estuary! Instead of being over budget and behind schedule, today’s announcement will get the EAA Reservoir completed nearly 5 years earlier than anticipated. Let’s get it done!”

Mast has represented Florida’s 21st congressional district since succeeding Patrick Murphy in 2017. He previously served in the Florida House of Representatives and holds a BA from Harvard University Extension School (2016). Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, Mast currently resides in Fort Pierce.
