Rep. Brian Mast, who represents Florida’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress, posted several messages on March 16, 2026, highlighting support for local growers, commemorating West Point’s founding anniversary, and offering prayers for Susie Wiles.
In a message directed at his constituents involved in agriculture, Mast wrote on March 16: “Our communities’ growers are dedicated & resilient—I’m proud to represent all of you in Congress.”
Later that day, Mast marked the anniversary of the United States Military Academy at West Point by stating: “On March 16, 1802, Thomas Jefferson founded @WestPoint_USMA. 224 years later, it produces some of the most elite warfighters in the world who continue to lead our nation with courage and patriotism.”
In an additional post on March 16 regarding Susie Wiles, a political strategist and adviser, Mast wrote: “Susie Wiles is a true patriot and a tireless fighter. Please join me in praying for her healing and for strength and comfort for her family in the days ahead. If anyone can beat this, it’s Susie.”
Mast has served as U.S. Representative since 2017 after replacing Patrick Murphy. He previously served in the Florida House of Representatives and holds a BA from Harvard University Extension School (graduated in 2016).
