Rep. Brian Mast, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, recently posted a series of messages on social media highlighting local environmental efforts, support for military personnel, and education policy.
On March 7, 2026, Mast praised local government initiatives with the statement: “It’s great to see @CityPortStLucie preserving the environment and giving residents a place to peacefully enjoy it.”
The following day, March 8, he expressed his support for members of the armed forces by posting: “God bless our troops.”
Later that same day, Mast addressed education policy and his legislative actions: “When it comes to education, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. Families know their children best and that’s exactly why I voted to advance the Homeschool Graduation Recognition Act.”
Mast has served in Congress since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017. He previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, Mast is currently 42 years old and resides in Fort Pierce. He graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016.
