In a post at 18:13 UTC, Mast announced progress on traffic safety legislation: “BREAKING: Dalilah’s Law just advanced through @TransportGOP. This marks a step closer to safer roads, stronger standards, and a system that protects America’s drivers. Next—the House floor.”

Mast has represented Florida’s 21st congressional district since succeeding Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently residing in Fort Pierce, Mast graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016.
