Rep. Brian Mast, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 21st district, used Twitter to inform his constituents about various relevant local matters. Brian Mast succeeded Patrick Murphy in 2017 and has a background in the Florida House of Representatives. He has been a voice for issues affecting his constituents.

In a tweet from April 11, 2025, Rep. Mast invited residents of Florida’s 21st Congressional District to attend one of the three forums scheduled for Tuesday, April 15th, providing a link for registration.

Later that day, Mast posted another update concerning the impact of hurricanes on Florida, emphasizing that the state experiences more hurricanes than any other and that the 2024 season significantly affected the FL-21 community. He mentioned a bipartisan hearing held by the Florida delegation focused on hurricane recovery and resilience.

On April 12, 2025, Mast addressed concerns over misinformation, particularly related to tariffs, a budget deal, and claims of “cuts” to Social Security and Medicare. He criticized what he described as “scare tactics from the far-left and the liberal media,” stating his commitment to “setting the record straight” and providing his constituents with factual information.

Rep. Mast was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1980. He completed his undergraduate education at Harvard University Extension School in 2016, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mast currently resides in Fort Pierce.
