Rep. Brian Mast, who represents Florida’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of tweets highlighting notable events and issues relevant to his constituents.

On April 14, 2026, Mast commemorated a historic moment in golf history, writing: “40 years ago, the Golden Bear made his legendary comeback in Augusta. Jack Nicklaus’s win still stands as one of the greatest performances in the history of golf. Proud that he is part of our community!”

The following day, on April 15, Mast addressed tax season by posting: “Today’s the day. File your taxes and see the One Big Beautiful Bill at work.” Later that same day, he commented on tax refunds for Floridians: “FL residents are getting the most money back in their wallets. Every county in our district has a higher-than-national average tax refund.”

Mast has represented Florida’s 21st District since 2017 after replacing Patrick Murphy and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1980 and currently resides in Fort Pierce. In addition to his political career, Mast graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a BA in 2016.
