Rep. Brian Mast, who represents Florida’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress, addressed several topics on his social media account on February 4, 2026.
In a post made at 12:33 p.m., Mast acknowledged an endorsement from @sbanypd and discussed the significance of recognition for sacrifice: “It’ll never be enough, but it’s more than nothing. Thank you for the endorsement @sbanypd—this is exactly what the Medal of Sacrifice is all about.”
Later that day, at 6:43 p.m., Mast marked World Cancer Day by expressing support for those affected by cancer and encouraging preventive health measures: “February 4 is World Cancer Day.
Today represents a moment to support the survivors and all those who’ve received that diagnosis. It is also a reminder to all of us to book regular screenings & look out for one another.”
At 8:38 p.m., he commented on economic concerns regarding American workers’ earnings: “Americans work hard for their paychecks, and those paychecks belong in their pockets, not overseas.”
Mast has served in Congress since 2017 after succeeding Patrick Murphy. He previously served in the Florida House of Representatives and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University Extension School (graduated in 2016). Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1980, Mast currently resides in Fort Pierce.
