Rep. Brian Mast, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 21st district, recently posted a series of messages on social media addressing conservation efforts and workforce development.

On February 18, 2026, Mast acknowledged progress in environmental restoration, stating: “Great to see the wood stork population recover in our Everglades & estuaries. Thank you to the conservationists for decades of hard work.”

The following day, he recognized Career & Technical Education Month by expressing support for vocational education and training programs. On February 19, 2026, Mast wrote: “It’s Career & Technical Education Month! I’m always proud to support America’s skill-based graduates—whether it’s through an apprenticeship or specialized training, our workforce is the foundation of our country.”

Later that same day, Mast posted a brief message of encouragement: “We love to see it.”

Mast has served as a U.S. Representative since 2017 after succeeding Patrick Murphy and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, he resides in Fort Pierce and earned his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University Extension School in 2016.
