Rep. Brian Mast, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, has recently used his social media platform to highlight issues affecting local agriculture and offer constituent services.

On February 20, 2026, Mast posted: “It’s great to see future generations taking pride in local agriculture and livestock.”

The following day, on February 21, 2026, he addressed the impact of recent weather events on farmers: “The catastrophic losses that farmers are facing from the last freeze is an emergency. The Department of Agriculture needs to declare an emergency.”

Later that same day, Mast informed constituents about federal services: “If you are needing to renew your passport, now is the time. As always, if you need assistance with a federal agency please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office.”

Mast has served in Congress since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously held a seat in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, he currently resides in Fort Pierce. He graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a BA in 2016.
