Rep. Brian Mast, who represents Florida’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts on his official Twitter account addressing tax policy, historical reflection, and crime trends.

On February 12, 2026, Mast wrote: “That’s right—we passed the LARGEST middle-class tax cuts in American history.”

Later that day, he reflected on a prominent figure in American history: “President Lincoln’s legacy as Commander-in-Chief remains among America’s most revered.  I hope we all take a moment today to reflect on his leadership and devotion to the country.”

In another post dated February 13, 2026, Mast addressed public safety concerns: “As much as the far left tries to incite chaos & violence on our streets, crime is still going down. Upholding the rule of law, supporting those who put on the uniform, and ensuring our justice system has the resources it needs are always a top priority.”

Mast has represented Florida’s 21st congressional district since 2017 after replacing Patrick Murphy. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently residing in Fort Pierce, Mast graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2016.
