Rep. Brian Mast, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, recently shared his views and activities on social media. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1980, Mast resides in Fort Pierce and holds a BA from Harvard University Extension School.

On May 15, 2025, Mast expressed his honor in joining Sean M. Curran, Director of the U.S. Secret Service, to lay a wreath in memory of several law enforcement officers. He wrote: “It was an honor to join Director of the U.S. Secret Service Sean M. Curran to lay a wreath in memory of Trooper Fink of the Florida Highway Patrol, Corporal Paez, Deputy Waller, and Deputy Diaz of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.”

The following day on May 16, Mast addressed issues related to Medicare and Social Security via Twitter: “The way to strengthen Medicare and Social Security isn’t raising taxes on the American people, it’s getting more Americans back into the workforce and paying into the system.” He encouraged readers to engage with his op-ed for further insights.

Later that day on May 16, Mast commented on a tragic incident involving an unlicensed illegal migrant in Colorado: “An unlicensed illegal migrant, racing at over 90 mph, kills a 24-year-old woman in Colorado. The punishment? Probation & community service. This is a disgrace.” He extended his condolences to the Weaver family while calling for accountability and restoration of law and order.
