Rep. Brian Mast, currently representing Florida’s 21st District in the U.S. Congress, has recently shared insights and updates through his social media platform. A former member of the Florida House of Representatives, Mast succeeded Patrick Murphy in 2017. Born in 1980 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mast completed his BA from Harvard University Extension School in 2016 and now resides in Fort Pierce.

On April 29, 2025, Rep. Mast emphasized his stance on national security with a post stating, “Illegal Invasions: Deportions: America: SAFE. We’re keeping our promise to protect the homeland.”

Subsequently, on April 30, 2025, he reminded U.S. residents of the upcoming ID verification requirements. He tweeted, “Reminder, you have one week left to get your REAL ID. Starting May 7, 2025, REAL ID-compliant identification or a valid passport will be required for any adult U.S. resident to: Board federally regulated commercial aircraft Access federal government facilities or military.”

Later the same day, Rep. Mast acknowledged the children of military families on National Military Brats Day with a message stating, “Today is National Military Brats Day, and a chance to honor the unsung heroes of military families: the kids. They don’t choose this life, but their sacrifices and pride in service are a vital part of America’s military story. Thank you!”

Brian Mast has been actively engaged in legislation relating to national security and has a military background, adding depth to his political and social positions.
