Later that day, Mast addressed immigration policy with a direct statement: “The message is clear: leave now, America’s border is closed.” (September 4, 2025).

He also commented on law enforcement and political leadership in another post from the same evening: “America’s law enforcement officers are being hamstrung by radical politicians who claim they’re serving their community but continue to incite violence, destruction, and chaos in our streets.” (September 4, 2025).

Mast has served as the representative for Florida’s 21st district since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, Mast currently resides in Fort Pierce and holds a BA from Harvard University Extension School.
