Rep. Brian Mast, who has represented Florida’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, posted a series of updates on his official social media account addressing national progress, tax policy changes for seniors, and local emergency measures.

On February 11, 2026, Mast wrote: “America’s back on track.”

Later that day, he highlighted forthcoming financial benefits for older residents in his district by stating: “Seniors in Florida’s 21st are about to see some of the largest tax deductibles in decades—thanks to the Working Families Tax Cuts!” This message referenced anticipated changes resulting from recent tax legislation.

On February 12, Mast informed constituents about public safety measures related to fire risk: “Burn bans are activated along the Treasure Coast and Palm Beaches and are effective until further notice from each county government.”

Mast has served as a member of Congress representing Florida’s 21st district since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017. He previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives and earned a BA from Harvard University Extension School in 2016. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mast currently resides in Fort Pierce.
