Rep. Brian Mast, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, recently addressed topics ranging from service academy nominations to support for small businesses and military honors in a series of posts on his official social media account.
On December 4, 2025, Mast issued a reminder to students about an upcoming fitness assessment for service academy applicants: “REMINDER for the students who’ve applied for a nomination to our nation’s service academies: our Service Academy Physical Fitness Assessment is on Saturday, December 13.

Later that day, he highlighted the importance of small businesses and expressed support from his party: “Small businesses are the backbone of our communities, and @HouseGOP has their backs.

On December 5, Mast called upon Congress to grant additional honors to fallen service members: “I am calling on my colleagues in Congress to authorize that any service member Killed in Action be allowed to lie in state. Mast succeeded Patrick Murphy as representative of Florida’s 21st district and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, Mast currently resides in Fort Pierce and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University Extension School.
