Rep. Brian Mast, who represents Florida’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to address a range of issues including environmental protection, prescription drug pricing, and public safety.

On March 17, 2026, Mast posted a message thanking individuals working to protect the environment during spring break: “Thank you to those stepping up this spring break to protect our environment here in #FL.”

Later that day, he commented on developments related to prescription drug pricing: “Great news. More prescriptions with Most-Favored-Nation pricing means more Americans pay less for the medications they need.” The Most-Favored-Nation policy aims to reduce medication costs by tying prices in the United States to those paid in other developed countries.

On March 18, Mast addressed a personal tragedy involving the loss of three American lives near his home due to an individual with a commercial driver’s license who was not legally present in the country. He wrote: “This one is personal. Three American lives were lost just minutes away from my home in #FL21 because an illegal alien who should never have been behind the wheel was issued a CDL. It’s time to get Dalilah’s law to President Trump’s desk, so this will never happen again. @potus”

Mast has served as Florida’s 21st district representative since 2017 after replacing Patrick Murphy and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, he currently resides in Fort Pierce and graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a BA in 2016.
