Rep. Brian Mast, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, addressed issues ranging from law enforcement to environmental policy and border security in a series of posts on September 3, 2025.

In his first post of the day, Mast stated: “It’s pretty simple: when America’s law enforcement officers get to do their jobs, Americans are safer.” (September 3, 2025).

Later that afternoon, Mast commented on wildlife conservation in Florida: “Florida is the only state that allows for the live capture of endangered species. It’s inconsistent with our commitment to protecting some of the greatest ecosystems in the world.” (September 3, 2025).

Addressing national security and immigration policy later that evening, Mast wrote: “America is getting its border wall. 100 miles are in progress thanks to the $46.5 billion Congress approved to finally finish the job. Strong borders lead to safer communities.” (September 3, 2025).

Mast has represented Florida’s 21st District in Congress since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently residing in Fort Pierce, Mast holds a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University Extension School.
