Rep. Brian Mast, who has represented Florida’s 21st congressional district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, recently addressed local safety and national honor in a series of posts on his social media account.
On November 30, Mast marked the official end of hurricane season by urging continued vigilance: “It is officially the last day of Hurricane Season. While this year was thankfully a quieter one for our community, always stay prepared and ready.” (November 30, 2025).
The following day, he acknowledged improvements in emergency response capabilities on Florida’s Treasure Coast: “New lifesaving capabilities are keeping the Treasure Coast community well protected. Thank you, @stluciesheriff.” (December 1, 2025).
Later that same day, Mast emphasized the importance of honoring fallen service members: “It’s the responsibility of all Americans to honor the sacrifice of those who put on the uniform and gave their life for our country. Any servicemember KIA should lie in our Capitol’s Rotunda.” (December 1, 2025).
Mast has served as a U.S. Representative since succeeding Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1980 and currently resides in Fort Pierce. Mast graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a bachelor’s degree in 2016.
