Rep. Brian Mast, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, recently posted a series of messages on his official social media account addressing government spending oversight, public safety, and emergency preparedness.

On September 3, 2025, Mast alleged misuse of taxpayer funds by Democrats, referencing findings from the Congressional Budget Office: “For years, Democrats have tried to cover-up all of the ways American taxpayer dollars were being abused. Just a few findings from the @USCBO

Mast has represented Florida’s 21st district since replacing Patrick Murphy in Congress in 2017. He previously served in the Florida House of Representatives and holds a BA from Harvard University Extension School. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, Mast currently resides in Fort Pierce.
