Rep. Brian Mast, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, posted a series of updates on March 11, 2026, addressing issues affecting Florida farmers, the integrity of American elections, and national investment initiatives.
On the morning of March 11, Mast highlighted the impact of severe weather on local agriculture: “Florida’s fruit & vegetable growers are projected to lose $718 million from this season’s historic freeze. Join our Farmers Freeze Recovery Meeting this Friday, March 13th at the Hobe Sound Farmers Market (10:30am–1:30pm) for recovery resources and guidance. Register here: https://t.co/VRDJWtsmfu”. This announcement invites affected growers to a community meeting aimed at providing recovery support and information.
Later that afternoon, Mast commented on election integrity by stating, “American voters should decide American elections.” The post did not elaborate further but linked to additional content for context.
In a subsequent post the same day, Mast referenced economic development efforts across the country: “Over $4 trillion of investments for the United States of America—building our communities, growing our economies, employing our neighbors. https://t.co/AusL0B49hB”.
Mast has served in Congress since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently resides in Fort Pierce. In addition to his legislative work, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University Extension School in 2016.
