Rep. Brian Mast, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, recently used his social media platform to address local environmental efforts, legislative action on fraud prevention, and public safety during extreme weather.

On August 1, Mast expressed appreciation for community engagement in environmental stewardship. He posted, “Cleaner water. Stronger community. Thank you for helping keep our community and waterways clean. @FLOceanographic https://t.co/FAtq68qu0t” (August 1, 2025).

Later that day, Mast highlighted legislative developments aimed at protecting public resources. He wrote, “We passed the Big Beautiful Bill to put a stop to this kind of fraud & protect the social safety net for our most vulnerable. This is a slap in the face to every taxpaying American, and we must hold abusers accountable.
